To the parents of Abbie Brandon:
I write to you to express my profound sympathies. I can tell you that I know the pain of losing a child because my husband Thomas and I lost our son Michael (7) to cancer which he valiantly fought four full years, never in remission since diagnosis in January 2005 until this 23rd January 2009 when his big heart stopped.
I have read everything you wrote about Abbie, the hospital trips and all. I feel for you and your family and what you have gone through. Know that someone in London, Ontario in Canada is thinking about you and your family. Be strong especially for Reece and for each other.
